1. A lot of people are surprised to find that I voluntarily completed the Air Force Survival Training Course and I'm not even in the military! Ahh, those were the days, a younger, more fit me!

2. English is my native tongue but I also speak Spanish, Korean and Japanese.

3. I am hopelessly addicted to soap operas (I limit myself to two now, General Hospital and Young and the Restless).

4. My dream vacation will be renting a villa in Italy for a month with my hubby and kids, once I make enough sales!

5. I'm pregnant with my 3rd child and suddenly developed allergies to everything from apples, bananas, peaches and oranges to rice, potatoes, lettuce and turkey!

6. Before we were married, I made my husband wait about 7 years before I would go on a "real" date with him!

Newest Item ~ Pregnancy Journals!

I am so sleepy it's ridiculous, but I was so excited about the latest custom order I did, I wanted to do a post. Thanks again to the slammin' Cafemom Etsy Moms team I'm on, I got a request to make a custom pregnancy journal. The client wanted the journal covered in cordorouy, which is one of my all-time favorite fabrics. She also wanted an applique. I so enjoyed making it and she loved the way it turned out, prompting me to make a couple more. So, here they are...

Where Have I Been?????

It's been a little quiet here, but that's because I've been working my tushy off to get some products out the door. I got my first consignment gig at Peaceblooms, a shop in Morganton, NC that showcases handcrafted collections by American moms!!!! Thanks to my membership on the Cafemom Etsymom team, I was connected with the owner of the shop. They liked my scrapbooks and greeting cards, so I've been working to get my first collection out the door. In addition to my summer line of scrapbooks and greeting cards, I added some new cards and a baby girl photo album. Guess I'm going to need one of these for myself because we also found out yesterday we'll be having a new little princess of our own soon...I've been working on a lot more and will be previewing it in the coming weeks!
